How do you account for this, given that he has spent a total of 143 days in the Senate?
I find it to be extremely telling -- that a Senator with only 143 days of Senate experience would have been installed on this many committees. Has that EVER happened before? I don't know.
It certainly isn't warranted based on his Senate accomplishments. So you have to wonder why this would be.
At any rate, getting installed into a number of Senate committees in your first term, BEFORE YOU EVER DO ONE SINGLE THING IN THE SENATE, is not evidence of "accomplishment".
