Is anybody short the dollar here? (Is anybody NOT short the dollar here?) I bot UUP (long the U.S. $)some weeks back, rode it up, gave everything back when Paulson proposed the bailout. I bot SKF(short the financials) last week until the SEC put it on ice for at least 2 weeks. OK, can we all agree that we should short the dollar...or is this too obvious? Look at the amazing chart symmetry of UUP (long the $) and UDN (short the $). Every blip appears to be reproduced, upside down, on the corresponding plot. finance.yahoo.com
