I wouldn't short the dollar, or anything else for that matter. I think the recovery in CDO prices is taking place behind the scenes as Congress hammers out a plan to buy out alot of MBS. Wouldn't it make sense the financial institutions that are short positions would begin to unwind some of their positions to start pushing those prices higher in front of the bailout package? If that happens, I would suspect to see some strength in the dollar.
