Anyone who thinks are Federal elected officials are "leaders" is delusional. They do nothing without a wet finger in the air (or in the taxpayers' pockets). Even if Obama were against it, let's say he vocally opposes it. Then, as is likely, the markets go completely down the tubes between now and November. McCain can then blame it all on him, and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. No, you'll get no leadership from them here. That's why it's best to focus on Clowngressional challengers who are behind. They have nothing to lose, and everything to gain be being as vocal in opposition as possible.
