OK this is totally unacceptable but what I feared would happen, because the banks need the DEBT to recover, so it doesn't help if the US buys all the houses as assets at firesale prices.

Buying at maturity level, give me a break! Thats at bubble prices, no way!

I don't support this. I support buying at TODAYs PRICES.
