Hard to see Obama ever going against the grain of the Democratic Party. They'll "fix" the mess with one of the biggest tax hikes on the "rich," courtesy of PAYGO. The resulting multi-year recession will just be blamed on the legacy of Bush. Um, I don't think you can expect Obama to clean this mess up in the first 100 days. And yes Bush (and the no regulation) Republican congress will take the blame... rightly so. I'm seriously thinking about gold, even after its big run-up. Don't blame you a bit. Even the Messiah is going to have a hell of a time with the incurred debt of the last 8 years... and the stuff that is piling on now. We're in a hole but we haven't stopped digging yet.
