Now, granted, there was a push to ban DDT for any use back in 2002. But, when the commission examined the idea, they rejected it because DDT was the best solution and had little impact when used for vector control. "Malaria was ´for all practical purposes' gone where DDT was used as prescribed." Right. Your point? "Some birds eggs going soft and a proven fact of DDT being absorbed by animal and human fat as well as - no doubt more profits imminent from new 'developments' - killed the use of DDT." Which is why it was banned except for vector control. "At the price of millions of 3rd world kids killed by the 3rd world big reaper." Nonsense. Most of the deaths due to malaria are in sub-Saharan Africa. It was never part of the malaria eradication program that eliminated malaria in much of the world. Most of the problems with spraying in those countries is not some non-existent ban, it is because most of those countries are basket cases with civil war, poverty and general corruption. "Repetition of partisan RachelCarson panic BS - Global Warming not invented yet - doesn't make that absolute BS true either." You need to avoid using straw man arguments. I am not opposed to using DDT for vector control. So stop pretending that I am. "Get real man, spear count or not." What are you talking about?
