<Obviously, the company will not comment on any serious negotiations they might be involved in. >

Right, so how would it effect the stock?

<I contacted IR. They could only offer that the stock's move probably is continued reaction to the recent Schering intron-A news and more awareness of ENZN in the marketplace.>

Yes...soooo......sounds good to me! Why because of the recent volume does something "have to be going on"???? This stock has a "gazzilion" shares outstanding and you get all exited on a million! Its freaking nothing do you here me? Your comparing it to the last year and 1/2's volume when this company was practically in the "pink sheets"! You cant compare then to now....theres nothing going on OK...your the type that starts rumors...for absolutely no reason you figure "somethings up"....yea somethings up....funds are buying the stock OK? Here's a summation of the action today...just read this everyday cause its all the same shit and meaningless:

<Buyers and sellers abounded today as the opening saw a guy pay 7 for 10k, promply followed by a 6 15/16 seller who "faced" the guy by offering 10k there....another guy came in and took 1/2 of that stock when suddenly another seller came in and offered "size" at 6 7/8, at which time the market makers tried to "walk it down" to the 5/8 level. At this point we say quite a lull as most of the "Brooklyn" market makers were "reloading" coffee and
doughnuts getting ready for the next big round. About 1/2 way thru doughnut #1, one of the guys got a large buy order from an unnamed party interested in biotech stocks and promptly posted a 6 11/16 bid thereby halting the "walk down" and causing maket makers to "reverse throttle" and pay 3/4 covering interday shorts. Since the "go along buyer" had to buy a certain % today (although I believe he will be buying each day up to a specified price), he
started paying 3/4 sending shorts scrambling and the stock back to the 7/8- 15/16 level where it traded till the end of the day....

Hope this was helpful
