You are right, TV was thought of before the early 1950's when the black and white sets entered American homes. It is a stretch to say that anyone heard the announcemnet in 1929-----on television. Biden should have known better-------saying that the announcement came on the radio would have been accurate. Sarah Palin is doing just fine------she is doing precisely what a candidate needs to do at this point in a November election----campaigning to the voters. Just had a long conversation with my oldest brother----two months ago he was not going to vote---he's now made his assessment and believes firmly that Palin was an excellent choice----so he will be voting for McCain and Palin. mj
