Dear Readers: Please be advised that everything happening today has been broadly predicted over the course of these postings since mid-early 2000s (and archived well before this).
So, Dear Reader, this series of events could not come as a surprise!
However, we are not inclined toward the "Yikes!" of surprise.
Momentary moves in our nation's opinions are like wiggles in the market: Of import if you are looking short term; of no consequence if you are following the larger trend. Thus, the little games false leaders play are of little interest in tracking the larger picture. (Also, by cutting down the repetition I am able to devote more time to issues.)
Note: I am separately archiving Paulson, et al. These archives are not posted for a reason. I leave the discriminating reader to realize why that might be.
Also: Mr. Story (lovely name) is calling for readers to "step up and out" in his efforts to publicise the "Crime of the Century" - or Wantagate, as he puts it. This (me) archivist/writer sees no need to get "ahead of oneself", but urges other like-minded, pissed-off citizens to take sharp account. Account of oneself; Account of one's situation.
We might face the fact that a singular moment has arrived. Either we are willing to fight to keep our America; "land of the free, home of the brave" alive by shear force of will; or not.
Or, maybe something like it. Only harsher.
Indeed. We lived during interesting times.
