I was thinking of adding my own. Pretty cheap political speech, actually.

I had a thought on the bailout: since it's a rich man's problem that the rich men created, and they have the most to lose, and since we have insultingly low tax rates for the rich, let's solve the problem by making those in the top 1% cover the $700B price tag. Since the top 1% pull in 21.8% of national income (http://www.demos.org/inequality/numbers.cfm), they should be able to foot the bill and still keep the house in da Hamptons, gas in da Hummer, and the mistress in town.
