Bob: 'The Obama-Biden comprehensive energy plan will invest $150 billion over 10 years in clean energy technologies, including incentives to accelerate private sector investment in commercial scale zero-carbon coal facilities. "

In this statement Barack Obama shows he is a fool - but a very slick one. A fool dedicated to fooling a gulible public. Few traits are worse in a politician or person of any vocation.

Arch: "Bob, can you explain why Barrack is "a very slick fool" for suggesting incentives for low or zero carbon coal technologies? "

Arch - he is a fool (or simply lacking knowledge) if he believes we are going to have zero carbon emission coal plants. I have said while it is theoretically possible - the economics - particular the energy requirements are huge. Where will that energy come from.

He is very slick because he can go around with a straight face and say he is for clean coal - like he did in Kentucky during the primary.

blog.washingtonpost.com

With a straight face he can deceive people by saying he is for clean coal - heck everyone is. At the same time he is for it while his definition makes it impossible.

How would you characterize that? It is the same with nuclear power. He is for it - but only if the nuclear waste issue is solved - solved by the definition of the left. The Dem Congress tried the same poop with off shore drilling - for it - where there is no oil.

I think his tactics are slick and evil. BTW - he is only a fool if he really believes his position. I think he is far smarter than that. What does that make him?

Here is the statement from his website.
Develop and Deploy Clean Coal Technology.

Obama’s Department of Energy will enter into public private partnerships to develop five “first-of-a-kind” commercial scale coal-fired plants with clean carbon capture and sequestration technology.

I am open to correction - I will wait patiently.
