Do I really have to point out that McCain is the only candidate that read the warning signs and tried to pass a bill to deal with the finance mess in 2005? Much to his chagrin he couldn't get the support to bring it to the floor from either side of the house.

Do I also have to point out that the reason that little support was found for the bill was because no one wanted to tip the apple cart when it came to the cushy revolving door set up between the congress and Fanny and Freddy.
