It looks like Goldman bought themselves a political consultant and a lobbyist in Buffett. They've got all sides covered. Buffett is already lobbying for this crappy bill and to get Paulson to stay on in the next administration. In the event this bill doesn't make it, Obama will probably get elected and they've bought out one of his economic advisors.
