We have a global economy right now, the Asians are still buying home appliances, cars, constructng roads and buildings... Without liquidity, it's hard to imagine what may happen to the American corporations, whose IPs and infrastructure may end up getting purchased by non-Americans at a cheap price.

I too dislike the government's intervention, if the bailout ever gets passed, let's hope it won't end up bailing out the executives and the rich...however, stock up the storehouse just in case...
