I just pray that those working for Washington Mutual are o.k., and that no one loses their jobs. I'm lucky that I work with ShoreBank promoting their 3.50% APY HYSA (more: shorebankdirect.sbk.com. I'm unconcerned that this financial crisis will affect our bottom line because ShoreBank has a 35-year history of basing our success on socially and environmentally responsible investing, and improving and renovating the surrounding community. I believe that this is the future of banking and that's why we'll be fine.
