The elephant in the room -- the key contributor to the current financial meltdown is deregulation, and a certain John McCain has been one of the main proponents and implementers of this deregulation. No wonder McCain wants to postpone the debate. The true outcome of the Reagan/Thatcher/Mulroney neo-liberal attacks on government is becoming ever more clear. LC
