I fail to see how the decision to bundle IE with Windows has anything to do with innovation.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that, if you make it impossible to extricate IE from your system, a certain number of people will just give up and use it.

If Microsoft really thinks that IE is so great, why don't they let it compete, head to head on a level playing field, with Netscape, instead of using every trick in the book to try to hoodwink people into using it?
