Yeah..

Obamas predicament is that by and large Americans are too fucking stupid to understand what is being done to them.

He has been criticized for opposing the Iraq war in the first place, and crucified for arguing against the "surge" brain-fart.

Although voting against these egregious policies may be the right thing to do, and the outcomes would probably have been better if they were turned down, the Republicans have raised this form of criticism to an art form.

No doubt if he votes against this abortion, he will be labeled a traitor at best by the McCain/Bush camp.

Our salvation comes in the form of him dodging the land mines here and being able to initiate sound policies....
