I am beginning to see some serious signs that my attempt at "humor," in Message #14150, may in fact become reality. There are quite a few signs in Googledom which suggest that a move to federalize all insurance solvency regulation is being made. This has been a long term goal of many within financial markets since the Truman administration. But it may well have been moved to the front burner by the unremitting rape of this country's assets by the MoMo's of unregulated multi-national capital. Its the *sole* remaining source of prudently leveraged cash we have. If that were to happen... I would be ready for my hemlock tea and you'd soon be looking for my recipe. But then... perhaps you'd enjoy living in Beirut-West. One can never know I suppose. 0\|0
