Troy Shaw, Re:>>>You are mistaken. Kim Edwards took over the helm at Iomega in January of 1994. Nearly every product Iomega currently sells including Zip, Jaz and all of the related add-on products were conceived and developed after Kim Edward's joined Iomega as CEO. <<<

Kim Edwards came to Iomega in January 1994 from a Unit at GE that marketed batteries. He had no idea what a removable disk drive was. There are many articles that will attest to this. To think that he could from January 1994 until 2Q 1995 conceive of the Zip, put out the specs for it, do the engineering, put it into production, place it on store shelves and smash disk storage paraidigms in a few short months - that would be quite an accomplishment. No wonder Iomgeans think he is God. Of course I jest. Rather, I think he was hired to market the Zip and Jaz Drives that were undergoing early stages of product roll out.

There has not been any other products since the Zip or Jaz that contributes signifcantly to Iomega top line growth.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
