I should have stayed at practice longer today. Net game is Sat....the boys are 3-0 and have yet to give up a point on defense. Jr. is really a mellow kid but he got a late hit penalty last week. It was really close - the kid had about half a shoe out of bounds and junior smoked him. He had already lowered his shoulder so he really couldn't pull up. The flag came out - I grabbed him by his face mask (gently - just to get his attention) and scolded him......but I was so proud! It's a guy thing. He ran back to the huddle and the coaches and I looked at each other with that NICE STICK look
