Steve,

I am new to this thread but am active on IDTI thread since I own IDTI.

I agree with your analysis of semiconductor prospects. SRAM prices are stabilizing and, more importantly, the dynamics of the entire chip market are changing. Products are becoming differentiated not by brand (i.e. intel) but by cost and performance. This gives clone chip makers an opportunity to grab market share. They will gain more and more acceptance. The risc/mips processors are also becoming more differentiated into commodity and high value added. Breakthroughs will occur when a company can produce high-value-added products at commodity costs.

I've noticed some insider buying recently in ISSI (along with some selling) which interests me. It may be that ISSI management feels that recent investments in R&D will payoff. Do you have any idea where they have placed their R&D bets?

I also note that ISSI's stock price has been outperforming other semi companies.
