tito... a very strange comment that your broker would have advance info on a downgrade... that kind of info is not shared with the retail side of a firm prior to announcement... and if the broker was foolish enough to tell you that it WAS going to be downgraded by the firm's analyst, even stranger yet... then for him to tell you to re-buy the stock, keeps getting stranger... is it one of the big firms? you might want to change firms, and/or brokers, sounds like bad info and may not be what happened at all... crazy... you could probably also have had the commissions credited in the round trip communicated... good luck
