McCain is a joke. Pre this election cycle he would have been in a gang of 8 to make the bill go thru while improving it. Now he is a partisan hack lookiing out only for his political advantage. Losing to him would be so unaccpetable that he appears to be willing to do anything to win. When winning becomes that important, it appears as almost psychotic. Not only will i vote for Obama, I will do something i have never done before---i will vote straight democratic. Republicans are totally unable to govern. They stand in the doorway and block up the halls much as they did with FDR and much as the Dems did in the 60s and the 70s when they were the reactionaries resisting progressive conservative ideas. I have had it. I wil hold my nose when i vote that way but its time for better or worse to throw out the bums and scoundrels who have run this country into the ground over the last 8 years.
