If it wasn't out of control, then a lot of small firms
would collapse before big ones went. We did not see that.
The reason is exactly Fed being enablers. There is no
perfect hedge, the market has tail events (mini-crashes),
but the Fed/Treasury made it perfect by appearing every time the markets
were about to mini-crash. Firms made a lot of money and
levered up that trade, assuming the hedge is perfect.
So, no mini crash, we just got
a big one (in a certain area <G>)
