Thats what I was thinking but there still a lot of cash shloshing around. I was watching a property recently that was going to be auctioned. I had estimated it retail value at $400 - $500K. I was hoping the auction would indicate direction. Instead some fools bid it up to $675K + 10% or $742,500 "in the door", I was amazed. The immediate area has something like 200 homes of similar attributes which have been languishing around on the RE multiple listing for the past year. Oh well, we are not there yet. Maybe next year after a long cold winter and a crappy spring selling season.
