With all due respect lifeisgood, I think a lot of people romantisize Ron Paul. His ideas are pollyanish. He has no understanding of intelligent public programs, like social security.

He seems completely oblivious to the great good the New Deal did. Glass Steagal act, social security, FDIC, governemnt work programs to get people back to work during the great depression, etc.

Ron Paul thinks we can get along without government. That is nutso. I believe he is against social security, and universal health care. I would guess he is also against medicare and medicade.

Ron Paul refused to vote for a medal for Rosa Parks. He said he did not want to spend the people's money. That is crazy thinking. You know about crazy thinking don't you-lol?

He was the only one to not vote for the medal. In a democracy our representatives have a right to spend a little money to give an award to one of the great people of our times who helped save our society and make it more decent.

We have an intelligent, compassionate and realistic warrior in Obama. Just vote for him-lol. Simple.
