Well remember he has a lot of patients with diverse conditions. If he were to lay the Dr. Davis line on his patients 1) he wouldn't have time for anything else 2) most of his patients would ignore him and/or think he was crazy.

If he doesn't practice defensive medicine, he will be rapidly destroyed with malpractice suits.
