What is it I'm supposed to learn You should learn how much better the country functions in a grassroots-up approach instead of a trickle-down. The government has really two big functions to perform to keep the country sucessful. It needs to identify and enforce common rules that we play by, and it acts as the insurer of last resort for all sorts of problems that aren't worth the time for commercial insurance companies. The other roles, such as defense, are really minor if you have leadership that isn't actively picking fights around the world. TP
