I am not a believer in "wedging" down or up sloping triangles -- unless it is a Leading OR an Ending Diagonal. (Others are Symmetric, Ascending, Descending and Broadening) So, I am not really seeing any triangles on the daily and up. The trendline connecting the May top and August highs is a valid one, and a break above it will have to be taken seriously. Right now it is a little under SPX 1270, but it is moving down pretty hard.
