hmmm. Yes I know what it is, and I was thinking it would help because these bonds are pretty much the whole problem with banks (I thought). Investment banking is now pretty much gone, so I would hope it can't happen again, although I am certain there are a ton of unintended consequences to having no investment banks. Was there anything you think could have helped this banking crisis, another kind of govt program, etc, or something like what buffett did with GS? I see 3 institutions failed today. WB, and Fortis in europe and a 90 billion mortgage house in the UK.
