No, I am writing of laws to restrict gay unions, even so far as to propose federal constitutional amendments. That's one of a whole category of actions. The common factor is that the Christains want to pass laws outlawing some practice that doesn't affect them one way or another. It's a way to tell their own congregation that the church is willing to target the powerless. This of course makes the congregation feel powerless, but thrilled that they aren't on the receiving end of this latest pogrom. That's what keeps the tithes rolling in. TP
