Vaughn,
Though it may take a bit longer for the Pt and Pd assays,
it is not a very unusual task for the Canadian labs
because a lot of Ni mines have some PGMs there and
the labs have no problem to assay them.

However, usually the PGMs in the Ni mines are not too
significant compared with the base metal values -- so
don't expect anything really big compared with the base metal values.

For example, the Diamondfield's Voisey Bay property.
Diamondfield did not mention any PGM value in the original Ovoid zone there in its last annual report (before it was taken over by Inco).
Another example is Falconbridge's Raglan Ni mine, also close to the
Labrador area, Falconbridge mentioned that it had some
PGMs there but don't even bother to mention the total amount of PGMs in the total reserves -- so won't be too signifcant compared with
the base metals.

So even if PGMs are there, they will only add some extra value
to the property, but usually not too much.
