If saturated fat is so evil, one has to wonder how we made it, as a human race, since the fat composition of human breast milk is nearly identical to that of lard.

You would think that there is an epidemic of blocked and bursting arteries among newborns (nothing an early prescription to statin could not fix <g>).

And human breast milk has a plenty of fat. Enough to give a low fat zealot a heart attack...

Here is something I googled:


Saturated Monounsaturated Polyunsaturated
Breast Milk 48% 35% 10%
Lard 42% 44% 10%

So human breast milk is actually "worse" than lard, if you take some of these clowns (and their reasoning) seriously.

There is something absolutely wrong when stuff that nourishes life is labeled as bad, while some industrial age contraption are labeled as "healthy alternatives"...
