The amount of trade we count upon them for. approx 80%. You know the Ontario story, manufacturing losses and those jobs gone to lower paying service jobs. Alberta is slowing down.. Why would the loonie rise ? If things get that bad n the US (I hope not) then eventually yes the loonie will rise again providing our gov'mint stays fiscally responsible.. ie... this is not a forever scenario.. I'm looking out 6-8 months..
