Why would the loonie rise ?

I see it more as the US $ dropping.<g>

1) We have the natural resources
2) Our banks aren't collapsing like dead bugs
3) We don't have the perpetual drain of $ to war.
4) We haven't mortgaged the farm as the US is about to do.
5) Much of the world wants to re-visit the global reserve currency basis.
6) Our debt is somewhat more respectable and trending properly as opposed to "you know who".
