Great quality name brand guitars are a much better investment that stocks at this point.

We have a friend who bought 1949 Tele with the original tweed case for almost nothing 25 years ago. Except that the finish has aged to that beautiful honey color, it's like new and plays well.

He's holding on to it to help put his oldest through college.

It's value goes up every year.
