so what's next? I think that RE prices have some downside in them. Lots of people going to be getting upsidedown on their mortgages.

Do the prices on homes drop to reasonable levels or are we going to see a fire sale? As was pointed out to me several times (by I think Mulhollanddrive), people really do need homes, they have intrinsic value. They won't be going to zero.
