Hi Ratan,

From safelight.com
I continue to marvel at the commoditization of ADSL--- before there's a product!

ADSL modems get cheaper
Currently ADSL modems cost upwards from $600. Hayes in America and Alcatel in Europe have combined forces to produce a new card for $250 that can compete on price with a conventional 56K modem. Supplies will be available in the first quarter 1998. Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line technology can supply enough bandwidth for streaming good quality video across existing copper lines.
