Larry - Re: "Fortunately for AMD, they had yield problems so they lost less than they otherwise would have had they shipped more devices at a
loss/device"

AMD admitted that their non-CPU buisness was "flat" for Q3.

In Q297, AMD shipped 350,000 K6 devices for a profit of 7 cents/share.

In Q397, AMD shipped 1,000,000 K6 devices for A LOSS of 22 cents per share.

Since non CPU business was flat, Q2 to Q3, and K6 shipments were the only significant difference, AND profits disappeared (went from a profit to a loss), how would you interpret their profit/loss per K6 device in Q3?
