HCA Corporation(You do know who they are, don't you)had to make restitution of $1.7 billion dollars because of fraud against our health care system.

At the time of the Medicare fraud, HCA was not controlled by the Frist family. In fact, it wasn't even HCA then, it was Columbia Health Care (COL), a company that started in Texas. The CEO at the time was a Texas dude, I can't remember his name--but he is the one that should have served time, and he got off more than free. After the Columbia fraud, the Frist family took back control of the company, changed the name to HCA, and then took it private.

Bill Frist, by the way, sold all of his shares of the company before he was Senate Majority Leader.

I went to school with one of the Frists--good people that have donated more to the Nashville community then most can dream about.
