Up till today I have not read or heared any positive article about this merger (except Lee and MCI). Not all wall street is stupid. If MCI is so important why BT didn't raise its bid. After this take over I just don't see how could GTE be flexible and competitive any more. I think this take over is too big for GTE to chow. Don't fall in love with a stock just because you own it.
