There was virtually no noise. The only real noise was from the tires making noise as they roll over the pavement as all vehicles do. Since we were limited to a straight section of only about 450 feet to accelerate we only got to about 75 mph before having to slam on the brakes before we would exit the lot and end up on the street. If we could have had the opportunity to drive it on the street we would have had a better chance of hearing the electric motor. In the lot we only heard tire noise. When the car moves slowly it's eerily quiet. I was expecting to hear some inverter noise but there was none. When you get in and turn the key there is a small click as a relay engages and then a couple beeps to signal the driver that the car is ready. Other than that.... total silence. A number of folks there were surprised how quiet the car was.
