the reason your friend (and any employee of heard) is having such a difficult time is because it was lax credit that allowed dealerships like heard's to roll debt over and over to keep their doors open WAY TOO LONG....had they been forced to be very selective about keeping their performing assets v. non-performing assets, hard choices.... it's possible the entire company would not have gone BK
