There is a difference between gaffes and lack of basic knowledge. All the candidates have their share of gaffes, but Palin's lack of understanding about a wide range of topics is frightening.

There is a story that Couric asked Palin about any Supreme Court decisions besides Roe v Wade, and Palin could not come up with a single one, not even Brown vs Board of Education. And this woman might be the Defender of the Constitution?

I wonder if she's even read it...
