Another day, another new low. I think the most important question Spansion will need to answer (re-iterate) during CC is the cash position / liquidity. I think these concerns are primary reason for stock weakness... Joe PS: I think one of the issues / battles in short term in the wireless handset market place will be Eclipse vs. MCM including NAND. That (high end phones) is where NOR players lost some market. It seems that Numonyx sees the only way out to play this market with MCMs, hence, their investment in Hynix. Spansion seems to want to fight it with Eclipse, by giving similar functionality of high end phones to mid range phones. We will see how successful the effort will turn out to be. But Spansion can play it both ways (including own MCM with ORNAND as NAND from SMIC), even though the press releases didn't advertise flash from SMIC to go to these applications...
