Having seen Jim post for over ten years, I think I know what he is trying to say, and it isn't about some fixation on Maseratis. Ted on the other hand wants a bailout for all the wrong reasons, IMO. He's not meeting conservatives half-way. Instead, liberals forsee a future where the economy is heavily managed and regulated by a bureaucracy of their choosing. That's why the only thing meaningful that Ted is saying these days is, "Why don't you guys take responsibility and step aside?"
