Yeah you would think, but the rule of thumb has been to ridicule Christianity while praising Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. (Judaism is kind of weird because there's no consensus on whether it should be treated as a religion or a race.) Lots of examples of said double-standard can be found across academia and in the mainstream media. I followed this more closely when I was attending college back in the 90's, but I'm sure you can do a Google search and find lots of this yourself. Tenchusatsu
