Although I consider the possibility unlikely, the prospects of Gwen Ifill being replaced or stepping aside grows as knowledge of her book conflict spreads.

Not with the debate tomorrow. Nobody else has time to prepare. But it's good that she knows she is under scrutiny. Her only defense now is to try to be scrupulously fair.
